Tooth Whitening

There are two different ways that teeth can be whitened.  The traditional way is to take impressions of the teeth and fabricate a tray to fit over the teeth.  The whitening material - or bleaching material - is placed in the trays and worn by the patient for about an hour a day.  The second way to whiten the teeth is called Power Bleaching.  This involves spending about an hour in the dental chair getting the teeth bleached.

Porcelain Veneers

Veneers are a thin layer of tooth shaped porcelain that is affixed to the prepared surface of the tooth.  The veneers can enhance the shape, color, size, and the length of the tooth.  Many times, spaces between the front teeth can be closed using veneers

Bonded Restorations

Cosmetic bonding is a popular approach to improve the look of front teeth that have discolored fillings.  The dentist designs a composite restoration that looks natural and realistic and creates a healthier, more youthful appearance.

Chipped teeth are easily repaired using a bonding procedure or with a crown restoration.

Spaces between the teeth can be restored by bonding, crowns, or by porcelain veneers.
